Heart and Mind Equine Workshops
I love these quiet, deep weekends and so will you. No horse experience is required and there’s no riding. Those who attend say they learn a surprising amount about themselves. You observe and interact as much as you want with these sensitive creatures, alone and in activities. Let them teach you about your trait and yourself.
August 11-12, HSPs and Horses Workshop. Woodacre, CA, No knowledge of horses required and there’s no riding. You learn—a very surprising amount–by observing and interacting as much as you want with these sensitive creatures, alone and in activities with an intimate group of HSPs. CEs available for psychologists, nurses, LCSWs, and LMFTs.
September 15-16, Language of Love and Leadership. This workshop helps with trouble saying no, keeping boundaries, and low self-esteem, and is based on my ideas in The Undervalued Self. As explained by Alane Freund, psychotherapist and founder of Heart and Mind Equine, we can all learn more about “when to lean in toward intimacy and linking and when to establish leadership or rank. Horses offer us a shortcut to social and emotional mastery through tapping their vast resources of nonverbal intelligence and innate leadership skills.” CEs available for psychologists, nurses, LCSWs, and LMFTs.
October 13-14, HSPs and Horses: Deepening into Ourselves. This is for those who have already taken any introductory course or work with Heart and Mind Equine in any capacity. As explained by Alane Freund, psychotherapist and HSP consultant, “we’ll deepen the journey of healing, empowerment, exploration and self-care under the guidance of our mentor [she means me] and with the support of our herd.” This weekend Elaine will also meet for a half hour alone with anyone who wishes to discuss something with me. CEs available for psychologists, nurses, LCSWs, and LMFTs.
