This list was lovingly curated by Lisa Levin. Lisa has made books the center of her life. She holds two teaching credentials and taught at the preschool and elementary level where she developed pre-literacy and reading skills in her students. In 2010, Lisa earned a Master’s in Library and Information Science and has worked with students in grades K-8 in both a public and private setting. Her priorities are to inspire in her students a love of reading for pleasure by guiding them to make appropriate fiction as well as non-fiction choices and empowering them to access reliable and age-appropriate resources and information in order to complete school projects.
Lisa has reviewed children and young adult books daily and blogged on a regular basis about books and the importance of reading. Lisa currently works at a private school, Mt. Tamalpais School where she teaches K-5 classes and creates programming for K-8.
Lisa is the parent of two young adults, one who is a HSP. Lisa is an HSP herself and has learned so much from Dr. Elaine Aron. She is a recreational triathlete who also loves hiking with her husband in the Marin County hills. And of course, Lisa loves reading for her own pleasure!
