May is Mental Health Awareness month. The theme is, “Our surroundings; Look around. Look within.” Alane Freund wants to remind us that paying attention to our surroundings is even more impactful for HSPs because of our more reactive, noticing brains. And remember that with Differential Susceptibility, creating good (better) surroundings will make a much bigger difference in our mental health.
