As a fellow HSP, I understand both the gifts and the challenges that come with high sensitivity.
I specialize in helping deeply thoughtful and sensitive people who are struggling with overthinking, emotional intensity, and people-pleasing learn to move through the world without losing themselves in the process.
My practice is also focused on working with HSP professionals, executives, and high achievers navigating burnout, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and chronic self-doubt. I enjoy helping those who may have become misaligned with their professional path reconnect with what actually matters to them, and start moving with through life with intention.

Hello sensitive soul. I learned late in life that I’m highly sensitive, and it’s helped me better understand myself, and my clients. Many of whom are also highly sensitive.
Being highly sensitive has led me to learn about and use gentle modes of therapy. Internal family Systems, attachment work, and self-compassion work give you the time and space to process, heal, and build a kind caring relationship with yourself.
I’m licensed to practice therapy in Maryland and Delaware, and I currently have openings.
If you live elsewhere, I also provide soul support for highly sensitive women all over the world.
Please reach out if you’d like to know more about working with me.

I specialize in working with Highly Sensitive People, Neurodivergent Clients, and Creatives. I support clients struggling with self-worth, confidence, burn-out, depression, and anxiety.
I offer an integrative approach which combines traditional talk therapy with guided mindfulness meditations and body-centered, experiential practices. Clients value my interactive and highly compassionate approach. I bring warmth, presence, directness, and creativity to each session. I am comfortable with the messy, raw, complicated parts of people. Our work will be done in the context of a connection grounded in trust, caring, and respect for you.

I specialize in helping teens (14+) and adults who may have been called “too sensitive,” get overwhelmed easily, and are deep thinkers and feelers. This includes people who often try to do everything perfectly or try to “do it all”. They don’t feel good enough. This often leads to anxiety, depression, burnout or a general sense that something’s not working in their life.
It’s my mission is to help you lean into your strengths and rediscover a life that includes enough rest, play, and creativity. I use elements of psychodynamic theory as well as Somatic Experiencing to help you feel more centered, self-aware, and at peace as we slowly heal any traumas that may be stored in the body and discard old beliefs that no longer work for you. I believe it is the utmost privilege to walk besides you as you heal.

I specialize in working with HSPs, HSP parents and parents of Highly Sensitive kids and neurodivergent kids. I offer HSP support for anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, dating and relationships, OCD, depression, life adjustment issues, people pleasing, increasing and deepening friendships, workplace difficulties, perfectionism, parenting challenges and postpartum anxiety & depression, setting boundaries and increasing self-confidence.
Dating and relationship issues as an HSP or Empath can feel tough. I often support HSPs who are dating and frequently find themselves repeating patterns, whether that is being anxiously or avoidantly attached and being drawn to the same types of partners again and again leading to burn out, or the painful cycle of attraction to Covert Narcissists on repeat and wanting to just give up.
I’m trained in a variety of evidence-based practices, including for anxiety, depression, phobias and OCD. I utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy I-CBT) for OCD. I often work with self-identified “nerdy HSPs.” I’m an HSP and a mom to two sensitive school-aged kids. Please visit my website or email me for more information.

I work with teens and adults who are gifted, twice-exceptional (meaning they are gifted
and have another exceptionality, such as ADHD, high-functioning autism, anxiety, or a
mood disorder), or highly sensitive (HSPs). Often my clients are both gifted and highly
sensitive.
I am a licensed therapist in Maryland and Virginia. Most of my clients see me online,
but I do have space in Herndon VA where I can see clients in person and lead groups.
When the Counseling Compact is approved, I can see clients in any state that
participates in the Compact. For a list of the states that participate in the Counseling
Compact, please see https://counselingcompact.gov/map/compact-states/ . I also offer
coaching and consulting services to people in Maryland and Virginia, as well as the rest
of the US and internationally.
Being a therapist is my third career. Previously, I was an attorney and a tenured
professor of developmental psychology, with specialties in child development and
cognition. I am both gifted (although I didn’t realize this until I had two doctorates) and
an HSP, and I homeschooled my gifted, sensitive son for many years.
It would be my honor to help you find your place and learn to use the strengths of
sensitivity to thrive in a world not built for HSPs. Please reach out for a free
introductory consultation.

As a trauma therapist, I specialize in working with highly sensitive people who often feel overwhelmed by the intensity of their inner worlds. I integrate EMDR, somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Reichian body-based approaches to help clients heal deeply. Many HSPs carry unresolved trauma or attachment wounds that make it hard to feel safe, grounded, and understood. My work focuses on helping you reconnect with your core self, release stored tension, and develop healthy boundaries without shutting down your sensitivity. I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), when appropriate, as a powerful adjunct for clients seeking deeper healing. Sensitivity is not a flaw—it’s a gift. My goal is to help you live fully without burning out.

I specialize in working with highly sensitive, deeply feeling, and neurodivergent adults and children, as well as providing parent consultation. As a highly sensitive person with highly sensitive and neurodivergent children, I bring a lived experience to this work! I often see adults who are working through family of origin patterns, people pleasing/boundaries, and who are looking to do deep work to transform old patterns and live more closely to their values. My clients often include therapists and other caregivers. My work with children often centers on anxiety, major transitions, and parents who want to support their children and themselves in navigating being a neurodivergent person in a neurotypical world, including supporting the process of evaluation for Autism and ADHD. My approach is foremost attuned to the unique person sitting with me (or drawing with me, or building block towers with me!), but I ground my work in psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness/self-compassion, parts work (IFS-informed), play therapy, and social justice.

I have years of experience working with highly sensitive teens and adults, and provide affirmative therapy for HSPs, particularly those who may also be neurodivergent and/or care deeply about social justice issues. I’ve also worked with many HSPs who have experienced burnout in their personal lives, or in their professional lives, and help them to process the aspects that led to past burnout, and which aspects are likely still keeping them within a consistent state of burnout. I particularly enjoy helping HSPs in advocating within peer relationships, and romantic relationships with non-HSP partners about their HSP trait, and identifying the strengths that are associated with having this trait! I aim to create a validating, light-hearted environment by incorporating humor and the ability to acknowledge our “humanness”.
