Christina has taken a special interest in working with individuals dealing with LGBTQIA+ concerns, trauma history, marginalization, unwanted disturbing thoughts, social anxiety, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and body image challenges. In working with children and adolescents, parents are incorporated into treatment as a powerful asset in the healing process via parenting sessions. With Christina, clients find their voice, embody self-worth, improve relationships, overcome personal barriers and learn how to regulate their emotions. They develop a deeper understanding of their challenges and the underlying mechanisms that lead to undesirable behavior patterns. Together with Christina, clients create a new life narrative by drawing on new meaning, insight, and self-awareness from their lived experiences. In the client’s quest to feel self-assured and confident, Christina employs a highly collaborative holistic approach based on the Client-Centered and Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy models. By generating more awareness of emotional states in the body, clients are empowered to develop tolerance and the ability to stay grounded in times of stress. Christina holds a safe space as they learn the importance of moving through uncomfortable emotions and how they may manifest physically. Through this mode of self-acceptance, fear diminishes and emotional pain is confronted and released. Treatment with Christina also incorporates an eclectic combination of evidenced-based practices not limited to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Play, and Art based interventions.

We have moved away from the traditional disease-centered model where, diagnoses and medication are the cornerstones of treatment. Instead, our holistic approach allows us to turn our focus to understanding the root cause and the life circumstances associated with diminished mental health. Connection with inner-strength and empowerment are the driving vision as we guide you in your efforts toward your natural state of wellness.

Offering online therapy in Florida, Hawaii, and New Jersey
I focus on helping women who feel they are highly sensitive, empathic, or introverted. Some of the more common issues my clients experience are: constant worry/always thinking the worst, having an inner critic, feeling like they are not “enough”, perfectionism, being easily distracted/forgetful, second guessing themselves, getting easily overwhelmed/overstimulated, procrastination, unhealthy/toxic relationships (romantic, friendships, work, family). I specialize in working with women who experienced challenging childhoods, have been affected by a narcissist, or feel they are codependent.
Most of my sessions include CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy – change your thoughts, change your actions) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). Together we will make a plan to determine what issues you would like to focus on, what things you would like help in changing, and what you would like life to look like after therapy. We will use your strengths to overcome your challenges!
I am an HSP as well as an introvert.

As an art therapist, I use the creative process in therapy sessions to support individuals who identify as highly sensitive, introverted, or empaths who are struggling with perfectionism, old patterns that are no longer helpful, worry, anxiety, burnout, or a harsh inner critic. I work with children, teenagers, and adults. By focusing on the process, not the product, we gain insight, awareness, and a new perspective into ourselves & our strengths. You don’t need any special training or skillset to benefit from art therapy.
