I have been working as a trained therapist and counsellor for over 25 years. A very large proportion of the people who come to see me are highly sensitive people. I am one, myself.
I see people suffering with all kinds of all anxiety and stress; including overwhelm; I also work with people going through relationship’ difficulties, through the pain of, and decision making processes around, infertility, through losses of all kinds, through feelings of being lost, and through the after effects of many kinds of trauma(s) (for which I sometimes use EMDR). I also work with people whose lives have been made extra difficult due to living with (a partner/family member who has) autism.
I see individuals , couples (with whom I use Emotionally Focused Therapy)

I understand that deciding to work with a counsellor or mentor is not easy. You might be feeling uneasy, confused or overwhelmed. I’m sensitive, easy to talk and have experience of working with highly sensitive people and parents of highly sensitive children.
High sensitivity has a massive impact on my family’s life and coming to understand the trait has transformed our lives.
I am also the author of a series of books created to help parents of highly sensitive children. My first book ‘Understanding the Highly Sensitive Child’ is a simple and easy to read book designed to help the reader to better understand highly sensitive children and to help parents to feel that they are not alone.
